  • Casting Salad in Resin / Making a Salad Bowl

    2019-05-06

I wanted to try some Resin Casting with Polyester resin because i like the clear look of it and its also pretty cheap. I never seen some Vegetables casting in Poly, i think maybe because of the moisture don't let the resin cure. So lets give it a try! I wanted to make this bowl without using a lathe by just making it with some Plastic and Stainless steel bowls as mold. although this wasn't working out because there was just too many imperfections and some exposed salad leaves . so i filled it completely with resin ( 2kg in total) nd turned it round on the lathe. somehow the salad lost his green color. It's not the prettiest but i'm done with it. oh yeah and i had a few big catches on the lathe which broke my tool rest when i was hollowing out the inside. i temporary fixed it with a block of wood and a clamp. i sanded the bowl from 80grit up to 2000 grit. and polished it with some automotive pain polish. • DIY Bo Shuriken VS Kevlar/Broken Riot Shield/Skateboard (Penetration Test)

    2019-05-06

DIY Bo Shuriken VS Kevlar/Broken Riot Shield/Skateboard (Penetration Test and many other Cool Things in New Special Video! Enjoy ,)- Tutorial for Conventional Half Spin - Tutorial For Military Half Spin: Informations about Bo Shuriken: Four antique forged Japanese bo shuriken (iron throwing darts with linen flights) Bo-shuriken are throwing weapons consisting of a straight iron or steel spike, usually four-sided but sometimes round or octagonal in section. Some examples have points on both ends. The length ranges from 12 to 21 cm (5–8 1⁄2 in) and the average weight from 35 to 150 grams (1.2–5.4 ounces). They should not confused with the kunai, which is a thrusting and stabbing implement that is sometimes thrown.Bo-shuriken were constructed from a wide variety of everyday items, hence there were many shapes and sizes. Some derived their names from the materials of which they were made, such as kugi-gata (nail form), hari-gata (needle form) and tantō-gata (knife form); some were named after an object of similar appearance, such as hoko-gata (spear form), matsuba-gata (pine-needle form); others have names that are a simple description of the object being thrown, such as kankyuto (piercing tool form), kunai-gata (utility tool form), or teppan (plate metal) and biao (pin). The bo-shuriken is thrown in a number of ways, such as overhead, underarm, sideways and rearwards, but in each case the throw involves the blade sliding out of the hand through the fingers in a smooth, controlled flight. The major throwing methods are the jiki da-ho (direct-hit method), and the han-ten da-ho (turning-hit method). These two are technically different, in that the former does not allow the blade to spin before it hits the target, while the latter requires that the blade should spin.Other items such as hairpins, kogata (utility knife), and chopsticks were thrown in the same way as bo-shuriken although they are not associated with any particular school of shurikenjutsu. The origins of the bo-shuriken in Japan are still unclear despite continuing research. This is partly because shurikenjutsu was a secret art and also due to the fact that throughout early Japanese history there were many independent exponents of the skill of throwing long, thin objects. The earliest-known reference to a school teaching shurikenjutsu is to Ganritsu Ryu, active during the 17th century. This school utilized a long, thin implement with a bulbous head, thought to be derived from the arrow. Surviving examples of blades used by this school appear to combine an arrow’s shape with that of a needle traditionally used in Japanese leatherwork and armor manufacture. There are earlier mentions in written records[clarification needed], such as the Osaka Gunki (大阪軍記, the military records of Osaka), of the standard knife and short sword being thrown in battle. Miyamoto Musashi is said to have won a duel by throwing his short sword at his opponent, killing him.- Riot Shield Video: you missed my last video, definitely Check it out: me on Facebook: me on Instagram: me on Twitter: Check My Website: you want Learn How To be Better Knife thrower check my tutorials: forget share, like, comment or subscribe if you new to my channel! • Test Basics – Beginning iOS Unit and UI Testing – raywenderlich.com

    2019-05-06

In this video, Josh walks you through writing basic tests for iOS using the latest version of Swift.—Writing tests isn’t glamorous, but since tests can keep your sparkling app from turning into a bug-ridden piece of junk, it sure is necessary. If you’re reading this iOS Unit Testing and UI Testing tutorial, you already know you should write tests for your code and UI, but you’re not sure how to test in Xcode.Maybe you already have a “working” app but no tests set up for it, and you want to be able to test any changes when you extend the app. Maybe you have some tests written, but aren’t sure whether they’re the right tests. Or maybe you’re working on your app now and want to test as you go.This iOS Unit Testing and UI Testing tutorial shows how to use Xcode’s test navigator to test an app’s model and asynchronous methods, how to fake interactions with library or system objects by using stubs and mocks, how to test UI and performance, and how to use the code coverage tool. Along the way, you’ll pick up some of the vocabulary used by testing ninjas, and by the end of this tutorial you’ll be injecting dependencies into your System Under Test (SUT) with aplomb!Testing, Testing …What to Test? Before writing any tests, it’s important to start with the basics: what do you need to test? If your goal is to extend an existing app, you should first write tests for any component you plan to change. More generally, tests should cover:Core functionality: model classes and methods, and their interactions with the controllerThe most common UI workflowsBoundary conditionsBug fixesFirst Things FIRST: Best Practices for TestingThe acronym FIRST describes a concise set of criteria for effective unit tests. Those criteria are:Fast: Tests should run quickly, so people won’t mind running them.Independent/Isolated: Tests should not do setup or teardown for one another.Repeatable: You should obtain the same results every time you run a test. External data providers and concurrency issues could cause intermittent failures.Self-validating: Tests should be fully automated; the output should be either “pass” or “fail”, rather than a programmer’s interpretation of a log file.Timely: Ideally, tests should be written just before you write the production code they test.Following the FIRST principles will keep your tests clear and helpful, instead of turning into roadblocks for your app.Xcode provides you with capabilities for extensive software testing. Testing your projects enhances robustness, reduces bugs, and speeds the acceptance of your products for distribution and sale. Well-tested apps that perform as expected improve user satisfaction. Testing can also help you develop your apps faster and further, with less wasted effort, and can be used to help multiperson development efforts stay coordinated. At a GlanceIn this document you’ll learn how to use the testing features included in Xcode. The XCTest framework is automatically linked by all new test targets.Quick Start. Beginning with Xcode 5 and the introduction of the XCTest framework, the process of configuring projects for testing has been streamlined and automated with the test navigator to ease bringing tests up and running.Performance Measurement. Xcode 6 and later includes the ability to create tests that allow you to measure and track performance changes against a baseline.UI Testing. Xcode 7 adds capabilities for writing tests that exercise an app’s UI. It includes the ability to record UI interactions into source code that you can transform into tests.Continuous Integration and Xcode Server. Xcode tests can be executed using command-line scripts or configured to be executed by bots on a Mac running Xcode Server automatically

  • Longines HydroConquest Unboxing Review L3 642 4 56 | TheWatchSource

    2019-05-06

We unbox and review a Longines HydroConquest Automatic 41mm in Black. The watch has a Longines ID code of L3 642 4 56. You can visit our website for more information at You can buy this watch, a Longings HydroConques at: We first show the Longines box that the watch is supplied with. Then we set the time on the hydroConquest and have a look at the solid case back. Next we look at the watches oyster strap and rotate the uni-directional bezel. After this we give a comparison of the Black Longines HydroConquest with a Rolex Perpetual Submariner Date 116610LN.—– Hello and welcome to The-Watch-Source-Blog.Today we are unboxing a Longines Hydroconquest Automatic with a 41mm wide case and a black sunburst dial. The box it comes in is simple and solid. Yes it can’t compete with the quality of a Breguet or an Audemars Piguet box (with solid wood and real leather paneling). But this watch is in a completely different price range and it’s astonishing what Longines have accomplished with such a low asking price – it has a RRP of just £790.Getting the watch out of it’s box we can see it’s evident that the aesthetics have been modelled on a Rolex Submariner Date. Not that that’s a bad thing – Every brand seems to be copying Rolex to differing degrees nowadays. Comparing it to a Sub… - They are both of similar case sizes – the sub being a little thicker to wear on the wrist - Both have a water resistance of 300m and a solid case back - They both have a Sapphire crystal on the front of the dial - They each have a case and bracelet out of largely brushed stainless steel (the Longines middle links being polished) - Both feature a black Uni-Directional Rotating bezel with 120 clicks (the Longines using an aluminium bezel insert rather than the Cerachrom ceramic found on the Rolex) - The Hydroconquest features the less expensive split pins to connect each link together – rather than the more expensive screwed in pins found on Submariner’s - And the Hydroconquest has a remarkably similar dial to a submariner with a date function at the 3’o’Clock mark – but appears a little too cluttered for my taste Setting the time now the screw down crown feels robust and is protected from side impacts by a modest sized polished crown guard. On the dial the hour markers and hands each have SuperLuminova luminescent fill, for better dial legibility in low light. The movement is an automatic Longines 633, which is based on a reliable ETA 2824 movement. Looking at the back of the watch, the case back is of solid stainless steel with some Longines signatures embossed into it. Yes it doesn’t have a clear exhibition back but that would have meant increasing the asking price – especially if they still aimed for a 300m water resistance rating. Ultimately this is a tool watch and having a crystal back would give it a vulnerability to it’s structural integrity. The Bracelet is fashioned in an oyster style, with a satin brushed finish with polished links in the centre, drawing attention and pulling the eye to the face of the watch. It has a surprisingly solid feel to the bracelet, something not expected from a watch in the ‘entry to luxury’ price range. And a folding clasp with a safety, and a diving extension. The Bezel has a single lume dot on the 0 marker and arabic numerals at the 15, 30, and 45 minute indicators. It’s not a ceramic insert but considering the price I can’t complain that aluminium was chosen by Longines. When turning the bezel around it replies with 120 very satisfying solid clicks. All in all a great watch as an entry to the luxury watch world and automatic watches. And a good ‘more affordable’ Rolex Sub alternative. It is not surprising that the Hydroconquest is currently Longines most popular tool watch. And yes it even comes with a massive user manual. That’s it from The-Watch-Source-Blog today, if you like this unboxing and want to see more – then like and subscribe to this channel for more like this in the future. If you would like to find out more or buy this watch, then check the link in the description.
